FINISHING
Pin garment pieces to measurements and cover with a damp cloth, leaving cloth to dry. Sew shoulder seams.
Neckband: With RS facing and smaller needles, K8 (8-10-10-10-10) from right front st holder, pick up and knit 23 sts up right front neck edge, K34 (34-36-36-38-38) from back st holder, dec 1 st at center, pick up and knit 23 sts down left front neck edge, K8 (8-10-10-10-10) from left front st holder. 95 (95-101-101-103-103) sts.
Beg and ending on a 2nd row, work 1¼ins [3 cm] in Twisted Ribbing as given for Back. Cast off in ribbing.
Front edging: With RS facing and circular needle, pick up and knit 131 sts evenly up right front edge, beg at cast on edge and ending at cast off edge of neckband. Knit 2 rows. Cast off knitwise (WS). Rep on left front edge beg at cast off edge of neckband and ending at cast on edge.
Armbands: With RS facing and smaller needles, pick up and knit 75 (81-81-85-85-89) sts evenly across sleeve edge.
Beg and ending on a 2nd row, work 1¼ins [3 cm] in Twisted Ribbing as given for Back. Cast off in ribbing.
Sew side and armband seams.

Button Covers (make 2).
With crochet hook, ch 2.
1st rnd: 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook. Join with sl st to first sc.
2nd rnd: Ch 1. 2 sc in each sc around. Join with sl st to first sc. 12 sc.
3rd rnd: Ch 1. 1 sc in each sc around. Join with sl st to first sc.
4th rnd: Ch 1. (Draw up a loop in each of next 2 sc. Yoh and draw through all loops on hook – sc2tog made) 6 times. Join with sl st to first sc. Fasten off.
Insert purchased button into button cover. Secure button cover over button.
Button loops: With crochet hook, ch 12. Fasten off.
Fold loop in half and sew to Right Front, having top loop 1/2 ins [1.5 cm] down from top edge and second loop 2 ins [5 cm] down from first loop.
Sew buttons to correspond to buttonloops.
