Mitered WrapBy: Kathy Wesley for Red Heart Yarn Knit a warm and cozy wrap in a a diagonal, mitered pattern with this wrap knitting pattern. This attractive wrap, knit in squares and then edged, is a great way to keep warm throughout the winter.
Finished Size: 21” wide x56” long
Gauge: 9 sts = 4”; 12 rows = 4” in pattern

Instructions:
SQUARE 2: Cast on 13 sts. Place previous square with CDD diagonal going from lower left to upper right, pick up and K14 sts along right edge of previous square – 27 sts. Work Rows 1-26 of Square 1.
SQUARE 3: Work same as Square 2.
STRIPS 2-8-SQUARE 1: Place piece with CDD diagonals going from lower left to upper right, pick up and K14 sts along top edge of Square 1 on previous strip; cast on 13 sts – 27 sts. Work Rows 1-26 of Square 1 of Strip 1.
SQUARES 2 and 3: Place piece with CDD diagonal going from lower left to upper right. Pick up and K14 sts along top edge of next unworked square on previous strip having last st in corner, pick up and K13 sts along right edge of previous square on same row – 27 sts. Work Rows 1-26 of Square 1 of Strip 1.
EDGING-Short Side: With right side facing, pick up and K14 sts across each square, having last st on each square in corner – 42 sts.
Long Side: With right side facing and omitting edging of short sides, pick up and K14 sts across each square, having last st on each square in corner – 112 sts.
