This decorative wall shelf, perfect for a kid's room or home office, is easy as A,B,C.

Materials:

DecoArt Products Required
Designer Series

DAD15 - Lush Foliage - NEW!!
DAD16 - Espresso - NEW!!
DAD17 - Spa Blue - NEW!!

DuraClear Varnishes

DS19 - DuraClear Gloss Varnish

Supplies

1" flat brush
0 liner brush
Water container
Palette or plastic plate
Paper towels
Painter's or masking tape
Round sponge pouncer
Wood shelf
Wood letters

Steps:

Allow to dry between steps.

Basecoat as follows: shelf top, shelf back, and letter C, Spa Blue; shelf edges, side supports, and letter A, Lush Foliage; letter B, Espresso.
Tape off vertical stripes on shelf back. Lightly drag Espresso over open stripe areas with brush.
Repeat with horizontal stripes.
Use pouncer and Espresso to stamp dots on shelf top.
Use liner brush to add dash lines on letters with contrasting colors and Lush Foliage wiggle lines on shelf back.
Apply DuraClear Varnish, allowing to dry between coats.

Helpful Hint
If you prefer, use DuraClear Satin Varnish (DS21) or DuracClear Matte Varnish (DS60) to seal.
