Forget about uncomfortable watch bands! Create your own unique beaded watch band from Katie Hacker that looks and feels like a bracelet.

Triple Strand Beaded Watch

Materials:

  • Three 8” lengths of .8mm clear Elasticity™
  • Six gold 2.0mm inside diameter (#4) Crimp Tubes
  • Gold watch face with three-hole bars
  • About 75 assorted 5-7mm faceted
  • Pink/purple/mauve faceted glass beads
  • Beadalon™ Crimper Tool

Steps:

  1. String a Crimp Tube 1/2" from the end of one Elasticity™ strand. Place the strand end through a hole on the watch and place it back inside the Crimp Tube to form a loop. Use the Bead Crimper Tool to crimp the tube.

  2. String one third of the beads randomly onto the strand. String a Crimp Tube and place the strand end through a corresponding hole on the opposite side of the watch. Place the strand end back inside the Crimp Tube to form a loop, then crimp it.

  3. Repeat Steps 1-2 using the remaining strands of Elasticity™ to complete the watch.

Note: See Bead Crimper Tool packaging for instructions on crimping.
