Midnight Sky

Show your creative side by bending memory wire into different designs. You will light up the midnight sky with this classic necklace.

Materials:

• Three dichoric round beads
• Eight silver 1.7mm tube cord ends
• Eight silver split rings
• One silver tag
• One lobster clasp
• One coil necklace memory wire 1ft 1.7mm black rubber tubing
• 36" 20 gauge Colourcraft wire, Black
• Deluxe Thing-A-Ma-Jig
• Round Nose Pliers
• Nipper Tool
• Memory Wire Shear
• Pasco Fix

Steps:

1. Slip the black rubber tubing onto the entire coil of memory wire. The coil should be completely covered by the tubing. Cut off any excess tubing with the Nipper Tool.
    
2. Cut 4 pieces of the covered memory wire using the Memory Wire Shear into approximately 2” lengths.
    
3. Glue a tube cord end using the Pasco Fix glue onto each end of the covered memory wire. Set aside.
    
4. To make the Colourcraft wire designs, cut the wire into three 12” lengths.
    
5. Using the deluxe thing-a-ma-jig, take each cut length of Colourcraft wire and use the following pattern. Make sure to slide on the bead in the middle of the design.
   
   
    
6. Use the round nose pliers to make loops on the end of the design and wrap any excess wire around the stem of the loop.
    
7. Attach the Colourcraft design to the covered memory wire pieces using split rings.
    
8. For attaching the tag and the lobster clasp, attach to the ends of the covered memory wire using split rings as well.
