Darling Dangle Copper Earrings

Use copper and beads to make this quick and easy jewelry project.

 

Darling Dangle Copper Earrings

Materials:

  • Soft Flex® Metallics Wire, .019 Diameter, Color- 8 inches
  • Copper Earwires - 1 pair
  • 2mm x 2mm Sterling Copper Crimp Tubes - 2 crimps
  • 2mm Copper Round Beads - 4 beads
  • Briolette Shaped Beads - 3 beads
  • Crimping Pliers
  • Soft Flex® Flush Cutters

Steps:

  1. Choose a wire color and matching bead. Use your creativity to pick the color of wire and bead that best fits you!
     
  2. Use Soft Flex® Flush Cutters to cut 4 inches of wire.
     
  3. Use one end of the wire to string 1 crimp tube and 1 ear wire. Pass back through the tube, but do not crimp.
     
  4. Use the other end of the wire to string 1 Round Bead - 1 Briolette Shaped Bead - 1 Round Bead - 1 Briolette Shaped Bead - 1 Round Bead - 1 Briolette Shaped Bead - 1 Round Bead. Pass back through the tube so that there are 3 strands of wire in the tube.
     
  5. Adjust the wire to make the dangle as short or long as you prefer.
     
  6. Crimp the tube using Regular Crimping Pliers. Trim excess wire.
     
  7. Repeat Steps 1-6 to make a second earring.
