How to Fix Frayed Ends

When you get frayed ends, whether it be with hemp cording or some other type of cording, you know how annoying it can be to slide on beads. Learn how to make jewelry the easy way with these 2 ways to fix frayed ends.

 

 

Materials:

Solution #1: Nail polish

Solution #2:

  • Tape
  • Scissors

Instructions:

Solution #1: Brush on a tiny amount of nail polish to your frayed end. Shape the end into a point by rubbing the cording with your fingers.

Solution #2: Take a small piece of tape and fold it over the frayed end. Rub the tape with your fingers to secure it. Cut the excess tape, keeping very close to the cording.
