Dino print 'Hi' Greeting Card

This simple handmade card from Spellbinders gets its charm from the dinosaurs that are “fussy cut” for the center. The petals are curved down to give them dimension, and the patterned papers all coordinate for a card that could be sent to a male or female, young or old.

Materials:

Spellbinders Die Template S4-159 Shapeabilites Nested Set: Flowers
Creative Impressions Brad
ClearSnap ink in Dark Moss
Patterned paper
“Hi” rub-on

Steps:

Trim card backing paper to 6" x 8" and fold in half to create a 6" x 4" card.
Trim the card mat from patterned paper: 5 1/4" x 3 1/4".
Cut/Emboss all three Flowers (S4-159) from three different papers. Notice how Beth “fussy cut” the center flower to include the dinosaurs.
Ink all the papers’ edges in green.
Assemble the card as shown. Don’t forget the brad that holds together the flowers.
