Daisy Card

Summer is here, and that means lots of yard sales, rummage sales, and charity fundraisers. Why not take your scraps of paper and transform them into artistic greeting cards that you can sell. Metallic iron-on threads add the touch of decoration that makes a card look high-end, boutique-style. They're easy to use and you can make many cards out of one spool of thread.

Materials:

• Purple card (we used JoAnn Craft Essentials- Textured Card Variety pack)
• Spring green cardstock
• Purple quilted paper
• Daisy Blocks paper (Rainboworld by Masterpiece Studio)
• Kreinik Metallic Iron-on Threads in #16 Braid 6200 Daffodil and 1/8" Ribbon 6300 Meadow
• Tools: scissors, iron, Kreinik Teflon Presscloth, glue stick

Steps:

1. First turn on your iron to its highest setting and allow it to heat up. Cut two strips of purple paper and one strip of green cardstock the same height as your card. Cut out three daisy blocks.
    
2. Begin assembling your card. Attach your three strips of paper to your card. With your iron, outline the edges of each strip with Meadow ribbon. Embellish the green cardstock with a swirl of Daffodil braid.
    
3. Position your daisies on the card.
