Bootiful T Halloween Project

Create this Bootiful Tee with an easy pattern and paint. It's a great easy Halloween craft that the kids will love.

Materials:

• Tulip® 3D Fashion Paint
  • 65407 Silver Metallics
• Tulip® Soft Fabric Paint™
  • BI15797 Lime
  • BI15805 Jade
  • BI17201 Snowflake Pearl
  • BI17203 Orange Mist Pearl
• Garment of choice
• Brushes: ¼” and ½” soft flat
• Shirt board or cardboard
• Tape or straight pins

Steps:

1. Before painting, always prewash fabric to remove sizing. Do not use fabric softener. Shake bottles of paint well. Place a shirt board or piece of cardboard inside of fabric layers to prevent paint from seeping through. Secure garment to board using tape or pins.

2. Transfer design to fabric. See instructions below for transferring to dark fabrics.

3. Paint as follows using appropriate size brush for area:

Ghost – Snowflake. Leave eye and mouth area unpainted. Paint Orange Mist randomly on ghost. Apply a small amount of Jade randomly as well.

Spider – Lime. Add Orange Mist to bottom area of spider and to leg tips to create shadow.

Background – Jade. Leave swirls and spots as unpainted space, as well as an outline around ghost and spider.

Spider Web - Draw a vertical line between spider and ghost hand with Silver.

4. Wait 72 hours to wash. Machine wash warm on gentle cycle. Do not use harsh detergents or bleach. Remove promptly and line dry. To iron, turn garment inside out, being careful not to touch design with iron. Do not dry-clean.
