Lovely Leaf Card

Anyone would be thrilled to receive this beautiful handmade card from Uchida of America.

Materials:

  • Marvy® Clever Lever Grape, Oak, Birch Leaf punches
  • Marvy® Clever Lever extra Jumbo craft punch - scalloped oval
  • Marvy® Long Reach punch - 1/8 inch circle
  • Marvy® Metallic Pearl Ink Pad - Purple and Gold
  • Rubber stamps (Take Good Care, Happy Everything, From the Heart sets) By Hero Arts
  • Majestic purple dark, Kraft and Kiwi Vellum by Prism
  • Zip Dry ™ Paper glue by Beacon Adhesives
  • Brushed gold brads by Creative Impressions
  • Synthetic sponge by Royal and Langnickle
  • Marvy® Embossing Heat Tool
  • Marvy® Paper Trimming Buddy with straight and scoring blade

Steps:

  1. Trim Kraft cardstock to 8.5 X 5.5 inches. Score and fold in half to create a 5.5 X 4.25 inch card base. Apply gold ink to the edges with a sponge or directly with the pad.
     
  2. Stamp Sentiment in Purple ink and heat set.
     
  3. Run one end of the purple cardstock strip through the oval scalloped punch so that you get a decorative edge at the end after punching. Ink edges with gold ink and adhere to the card.
     
  4. Punch out leaf images and adhere to the card as shown.
     
  5. Punch holes for the brads with the long reach circle punch, attach brads to finish the card.
