Golf Lover Picture Frame

Commemorate a golf-lover with this fun golf picture frame. This painted green frame makes a wonderful Father's Day gift.

Golf Lover Picture Frame
 

Materials:

DecoArt Products Required
Americana Acrylics

  • DAO1 - Snow (Titanium) White
  • DAO67 - Lamp (Ebony) Black
  • DAO77 - Desert Sand
  • DA230 - Festive Green

Liquid Beadz

  • BE06C - Green

Palette Knife

  • DT02 - Palette Knife

Americana Brushes

  • DBL1000-B - Liner 0
  • DBF2575-B - Flat 3/4"

Supplies

  • Water container
  • Paper towels
  • Old scissors
  • Hot glue gun and glue sticks
  • Pencil
  • Hair dryer with low setting
  • Wood frame with heart cut-out
  • Craft stick
  • Lara Crafts wooden pieces: 1-1/2" diamond; 5" sign plaque; 1" round ball


Instructions:

1. Paint entire frame using 3/4" brush and Festive Green. Let dry.
2. Paint wood sign using Desert Sand; craft stick, Lamp Black; and wood diamond and round ball, Snow White.
3. Use pencil to lightly sketch lettering on wood sign. Paint lettering using liner brush and Lamp Black.
4. Use handle of brush to dot golf ball. Paint number on diamond. Use old scissors to cut off bottom edge of sign. (see photo)
5. Using palette knife scoop and spread Green Beadz around frame platform. Use hair dryer on low setting to set Beadz. Let Beadz dry thoroughly.
6. Use glue gun to assemble pieces as shown.
