A few of these cute 4th of July Quilted Stars from Cathie & Steve would be cute in a wreath, hung on the backs of chairs, or just hanging on the wall. July 4th crafts bring the patriotic spirit right into your home.

Scissors
Foam
Paintbrush
Wood star shape
Tulle
Hot glue gun
Scrap ribbons
Instructions:
Paint the star with a coat of Folkart azure blue paint. Allow to dry. Paint 3 layers of Extreme Glitter over the blue paint. Allow to dry in between coats.
Make a template of the sides or points of the star shape with a piece of scrap paper. Use the template as a guide for cutting out pieces of the red, white and blue printed fabrics. For this design I used two different prints.
Apply Mod Podge to the star and place the cut pieces of fabric into the Mod Podge, add a coat of Mod Podge over the fabric. Smooth with your fingers and reposition if the fabric slips.
Paint the small wood star red and topcoat with 2 layers of Extreme Glitter in red. Hot glue a poof of tulle behind the star. Hot glue the tulled star to the center of the star. Tie decorative ribbons to the top of the star.
