Floaty Tulle Flowers

Floaty Tulle Flowers

Materials:

  • Tulle – small amounts
  • Scissors
  • Lighter
  • Stickles/glitter glue
  • Glue dots
  • Liquid glue
  • Seed beads
  • Rhinestone or other flower centers

Instructions:

  1. Tulle comes in a lot of interesting varieties in addition to the stiff net-like material we are used to. You can find it with glitter, an iridescent sheen, pearls attached and in a rainbow of colors and metallics.
     
  2. Cut circles from the tulles you want to layer for your flower. They do not have to be perfect circles but can be if you want – just use a die to cut them out.
     
  3. Take your lighter and carefully and quickly run it along the edges of your circles. This will seal them and also give your flat circle a bit of dimension.
     
  4. Run glitter glue around the edges of some or all of your layers if you want.
     
  5. Use liquid glue and apply tiny dots to some of the layers to glue seed beads on if you want.
     
  6. Use glue dots to adhere your layers and your flower center.
