Hammer Designed Tie

Show Dad how cool he is with his very own tie with a hammer template on it. He can wear it to work or wear it when he's working in the yard. Dad will love the creativity that went this Cathie & Steve for Plaid hammer designed tie.

Materials:

4411 - FolkArt ® Fabric™ Paint - Brush On - Asphaltum
Tie
Freezer paper
Hammer template
Craft knife
Iron
Foam paintbrush

Steps:

Make a freezer paper stencil by tracing the hammer template onto the paper side of the freezer paper. Cutout the template with a craft knife. Working with a medium heat iron, attach the freezer paper to the base of the tie.
Using a foam paintbrush, paint the stencil with the brown paint. Allow the paint to dry and heat set with an iron.
