Don't just make plain old ice skates for your teddy bear. Add some furry trim to get that extra pizazz. Not only is this good for teddy bear skates, but you can also use this pattern for your doll shoes and bear boots.

Materials:

  • Doll or bear ice skates
  • Glue gun
  • Scrap fur

Steps:

  1. If you have a plain pair of doll or bear ice skates and would like to add a fur accent, it's easy to do with a small scrap of fur and a glue gun.

  2. Cut out two 3/4" - 1" wide strips of fur long enough to go around the top edge of your skate. Glue one side of the fur to the outside of the top edge of the skate, then fold over and glue the other side to the inside of the top edge of the skate. Now you have a dressy pair of ice skates!

  3. You could also dress up a pair of plain doll or bear boots with fur.
