A stunning birch bark wreath is a great addition to your holiday decor this year, and with this tutorial on How to Make a Birch Bark Wreath from Bernadette Fox, you'll learn how to create one of your very own.  These beautiful wreaths are great for both indoors and out, and look stunning with a big red bow.  Use up that extra wood in your back yard with this classic winter craft project.

Birch Bark Wreath

Materials:

  • Around 12 birch rounds (size doesn't matter as long as they are not larger than 5" in diameter and 3" thick). You can also use other trees for the wooden rounds or even use large dowels and cut them to size.  If you are interested in purchasing birch rounds for this projectplease drop me an email: gardeningwithbernadette@gmail.com
  • Sturdy wire coat hanger
  • 10" piece of pliable wire (I used 14 gauge fence wire)
  • Large piece of birch bark, about a square foot
  • Sprigs of greenery
