Welcome friends and loved ones to your home with this beautiful Apple Pie Wreath from Lisa DeNardi.  This wreath is great to have out all season long and makes a wonderful first impression for guests coming to your home.

Materials:

  • Wire wreath
  • Fresh Apple Pie sign (or similar sign)
  • Roll of loose woven burlap
  • A few fall sprigs
  • Floral apples
  • Fall fabric

Instructions:

  1. The fabric and the burlap were cut in strips roughly 12 inches by 1 inch. The fabric was just as pretty on the flip side and I liked the look of both colors on the wreath.

  2. Each strip was tied randomly to the wire wreath.  The loose woven burlap will fray quite a bit while working with it.  That’s ok.  The overall look should have an uncontrolled and natural appearance.

  3. With the addition of a few small apples,  fall flowers and trimmings, the wreath filled out beautifully...  and those stray burlap strings just add to the rustic charm.

  4. I loved this wooden, half-rolling pin I found at Michaels. The wire was tied to the bottom of the wreath when it was all done.

  5. PLEASE NOTE:  Using any decorative items you wish, this wreath will be beautiful in any room, but  is ONLY to be used indoors.  The loose woven burlap will not stand up to outdoor weather.
