Scrap Ribbon Lamp ShadeBy: Mark Montano I didn’t really plan on making this lampshade today, but I was cleaning my craft room and my scrap ribbon bin was starting to overflow. If you’re anything like me, then you save every little scrap, button, swatch, or diddle you can get your hands on. It’s a habit I have never been able break! Well, in the case of today, it worked well for me. This lampshade will match any room because lets face it, if I had a kitchen sink to glue on it, I probably would have. Materials:
Note: I like using braided trims or more flexible trims for the top and bottom edges of lampshades because they conform to the shape much more easily. Using ribbon can get very tricky and honestly, I’m just not that good at it………yet. Instructions:
