Princess Dress Wall Hanging
From the Designer: "This home decor piece was created using the Leisure Arts Princess Dress Diamond Art. After creating the diamond art dress, I cut out the finished piece and adhered it to felt with some pretty lace to create a beautiful wall hanging, perfect for any girls bedroom. I painted a wooden dowel in white and used Beacon Power Tac glue to adhere it to the felt piece. Then I finished the dress with some Prima flowers and a touch of lace."

Materials List
- Leisure Arts - Diamond Art, Red Dress Design
- Pink felt
- Silver glitter cardstock
- Beacon - Power Tac glue
- Imagine - Tear it tape
- Prima - flowers
- wooden dowel
- white craft paint
- White satin ribbon
- piece of lace
- chipboard pieces
Instructions

Use the Diamond Art kit to create dress pattern

Cut off edges of fabric to fit onto the silver glitter cardstock and cut cardstock to fit pink felt piece

Use double sided tape to adhere Diamond Art piece to the glitter cardstock

Use the wet adhesive to adhere the cardstock to the felt

Paint the chipboard pieces and the wooden dowel with white craft paint and let dry

Adhere the lace to the bottom of the felt piece with the wet adhesive

When dowel is dry, flip the project over and run a line of wet adhesive along the top of the felt piece and then roll the dowel around it completely. Put more adhesive on the edge of the seam and hold in place for about 30 seconds or until it stays in place

Use the wet adhesive to adhere the chipboard pieces to the top and bottom of the dress

Adhere the flowers and lace onto the dress

Tie the satin ribbon to either end of the dowel and hang it on the wall!
NotesThe Leisure Arts Diamond Art kits are really fun to create and quite relaxing! I loved making this project. The beads really do sparkle like diamonds.
