Sphere Moss Decorations
Touchable textures, connection to the world outside, and fresh color are attractive features of these mossy sphere decorations. Makes a gorgeous display in an interesting bowl or container as a centerpiece or individually arranged on bookshelves or a mantel.
Materials:
- STYROFOAM™ Brand Foam:
- Balls: 6"; two 5"
- Green sheet moss, two large bags
- Old newspaper
- Spray adhesive
- Rubber gloves
- Silk butterfly (Optional)
- Low temperature glue gun and glue sticks
- White, thick craft glue
Steps:
- Cover work surface to avoid adhesive overspray; work outside, if possible, or in well-ventilated area. Put on gloves, if desired.
- Spray first foam ball and back of one moss sheet with adhesive. Wrap moss around ball, holding it flat against surface until secure. Apply more adhesive as needed.
- Rest spheres in containers or directly on surface for display. Add silk butterfly or other nature-themed embellishments, as desired.
