Touchable textures, connection to the world outside, and fresh color are attractive features of these mossy sphere decorations. Makes a gorgeous display in an interesting bowl or container as a centerpiece or individually arranged on bookshelves or a mantel.

Moss Spheres Decorations

Materials:

  • STYROFOAM™ Brand Foam:
    • Balls: 6"; two 5"
  • Green sheet moss, two large bags
  • Old newspaper
  • Spray adhesive
  • Rubber gloves
  • Silk butterfly (Optional)
  • Low temperature glue gun and glue sticks
  • White, thick craft glue

Steps:

  1. Cover work surface to avoid adhesive overspray; work outside, if possible, or in well-ventilated area. Put on gloves, if desired.

  2. Spray first foam ball and back of one moss sheet with adhesive. Wrap moss around ball, holding it flat against surface until secure. Apply more adhesive as needed.

  3. Rest spheres in containers or directly on surface for display. Add silk butterfly or other nature-themed embellishments, as desired.
