Green and Pink Flower Sphere

Add a touch of spring to any room in your house with this easy-to-create green and pink flower sphere. Floral decorations are wonderful all year long, and this is a terrific project to work on with the kids.

Green and Pink Flower Sphere

Materials:

STYROFOAM™ Brand Foam:
- Ball, 6"
Floral shears or wire cutters
Thick, white craft glue
Low-temp glue gun and glue sticks
Ruler
Medium carnations, 18 each: pink; green

Steps:

Use floral shears to trim carnation stems to 2" long.
Using a single color only, insert row of flowers around center of foam ball. Insert row on either side of first using second flower color. Continue until ball is completely covered.
Adjust flowers as needed. When pleased with arrangement, remove flowers one by one, apply glue to stems, and reinsert into ball. Let dry completely.
