Green and Pink Flower Sphere
Add a touch of spring to any room in your house with this easy-to-create green and pink flower sphere. Floral decorations are wonderful all year long, and this is a terrific project to work on with the kids.
Materials:
- STYROFOAM™ Brand Foam:
- Ball, 6"
- Floral shears or wire cutters
- Thick, white craft glue
- Low-temp glue gun and glue sticks
- Ruler
- Medium carnations, 18 each: pink; green
Steps:
- Use floral shears to trim carnation stems to 2" long.
- Using a single color only, insert row of flowers around center of foam ball. Insert row on either side of first using second flower color. Continue until ball is completely covered.
- Adjust flowers as needed. When pleased with arrangement, remove flowers one by one, apply glue to stems, and reinsert into ball. Let dry completely.
