Size: 37” x 39”
 

Materials:

720 yds. Baby Pink Red Heart 4-ply yarn (P)
290 yds. White Red Heart 4-ply yarn (W)
1 yd. 5/8” pink satin ribbon
G crochet hook or size needed for gauge
 

Gauge: Shell, V St, Shell, V St – 3 ¼”
4 rows – 2 ¾”
 

Stitch Guide:

Chain (ch), Single Crochet (sc), Double Crochet (dc), Slip Stitch (sl st)
Special Stitches: V St – dc, ch 1, dc
Shell – 3 dc


Row 1 – With pink ch 133, V St in 5th ch from hook, *skip 2 ch, Shell in next ch, skip 2 ch, V St in next ch, rep from * across alternating Shell and V St, dc in last ch, ch 3 and turn.
Row 2 - *Shell in ch 1 sp of V St, V St in center dc of Shell, rep from * across, dc in last dc, ch 3 and turn.
Row 3 - *V St in center dc of Shell, Shell in ch 1 of V St, rep from * across, dc in last dc, ch 3 and turn.
Row 4 – Rep Row 2, fasten off and turn.
Row 5 – Join white with a sl st in first dc, ch 2, continue with Row 3.

 
Color Scheme:

Rep Rows 3 and 2 as follows:
P 4 W 2 (9 times) P 4 (58 rows)


Edging:

With pink (sc, ch 2, 2 dc) in upper right side edge dc, work along top edge *skip 2 st, (sc, ch 2, 2 dc) in next st, rep from * across ending sc in 3rd dc of Shell, (2 dc, ch 2, sc) in side edge dc.
Work along side edge (sc, ch 3, sc) in each dc across ending (sc, ch 2, 2 dc) in last dc.
Work along bottom edge *skip 2 ch, (sc, ch 2, 2 dc) in next ch, rep from * across ending sc in last ch, (2 dc, ch 2, sc) in side edge dc.
Work along side edge (sc, ch 3, sc) in each dc across, join to beg sc and fasten off.
 

Ribbon Trim:

Attach 1 ribbon bow to upper left corner and 1 ribbon bow to lower right corner.
