I love this pattern with the little pockets in the front with the heart buttons on it. I am in need of a sweater for a slightly more formal occasion, I wonder if this pattern would work. I could change the yarn from variegated to one color, and the heart buttons to either gold or maybe pearl? Or do you think the sweater would need a collar to make it more formal?
