I'm loving the pattern and fit so far, but I'm confused about the shaping of the heel. It says to work to the last 15 sc. I thought this to mean to work a sc into everyone and leave the last 15 alone, but it says I'm only supposed to have 10 scs.. I also had to take it down to 36 stitches in the beginning since the actual instructions make a slipper that is WAY to big for my foot, but I've worked around that until now.

Love this pattern I uses 2 strands of wool and put 6 stitches on instead of 8 had to work it a few times and finally got a great looking slipper. I have made approximately 25 prs as Christmas gifts they are so Thanks and warm everyone loved them.

I am going to try this pattern. I once had a very easy slipper pattern but lost it.

I don't know what it means about the bigger sizes, can you help me please

Round 5 then round 7?? No 6?

Help! I bought medium weight (4) yarn, and my slippers are turning out too huge.

Im confused after round 7 to increase to 56 sc do u repeat from row 4 thru 7 or do u increase using row 4 and increase 4 sc until u reach 56 sc. This pattern is not real clear and confusing and I have been crotcheting for years

love this pattern, it is so simple and keeps your feet warm. I slip them on over my sox at night while sleeping, and depending on the weight of the yarn, they can be worn inside of boots.

Is rnd 6 missing?

The best slippers I have ever gotten was from my Granny, they were made just from Granny squares measure the length of your foot, make the granny square that size attach 3 corners together and the last corner stitch up and leave enough room to insert your foot you can embellish the top with a button or whatever you want they are warm and comfy my Granny is gone and I wore mine out but she left me the memory of those wonderful slippers sorry don't have a pattern I just go by memory....if you have any questions just email me at joshybearsbaby@yahoo.com and put in the subject: Slippers I am going to make a pair this aftwernoon and will take photos if you would like to see what they look like :)
