For single crochet you go into the front of the next single crochet below, or chain and hook over and pull through the loop. To reverse you go into the back and pick up the thread in front and take back through and pull through loop. Anyway it is from the back to front. I think I did it once. That, I believe is reverse single crochet.

Could you explain 'reverse single crochet'? I don't know this stitch and can't find it in Any of my books! TY!

No problems at all. A perfect easy pattern for a really cute hat. Thanks

Since the 6 increases are NOT evenly spaced around the hat, my hat is becoming lopsided. Is this intentional so it will cover more of the back of the head?

The problem I am having is my seam is curved and it shouldn't be (at least I don't think it should) even when I use the stitch marker. Can you tell me if the chain one is being considered the first "stitch" or not or am I just missing something?

I would like to make this hat for an adult, but it appears to me there are no increases for the adult size. Am I missing something in the pattern?

Hate it. It needs full words. I don't know what the heck it says.
