Use super fine yarn and this easy crochet pattern from Premier Yarns to create a pretty and delicate lace stole with fringe. Crochet Lace Wrap

Materials:

  • 3 balls Premier Yarn in Mosaic
  • 5 mm (US-H/8) crochet hook

 

Gauge: 20 dc and 10 rows = 4" Use any size hook necessary to obtain the specified gauge.

 

Instructions:
Finished measurement: 15" x 60" (excluding fringe)

  1. Ch 82.
     
  2. Row 1 (WS): Sc in second ch from hook, * ch 3, sk next 3 ch, sc in next ch; rep from * across; turn – 21 sc and 20 ch-3 sps.
     
  3. Row 2: Ch 3, 3 dc in first sc, * sk in next ch-3 sp, (sc, ch 3, 3 dc) in next sc; rep from * across to last ch-3 sp, sk last ch-3 sp, sc in last sc; turn.
     
  4. Row 3: Ch 6, sk first sc and next 3 dc, sc in next ch-3 sp, * ch 3, sc in next ch-3 sp; rep from * across; turn.
     
  5. Row 4: Ch 3 (counts as a dc), sk first sc, * 3 dc in next ch-3 sp, dc in next sc; rep from * across, ending with 3 dc in ch-6 sp, dc in third ch of turning ch-6; turn – 81 dc.
     
  6. Row 5: Ch 1, sc in first dc, * ch 3, sk next 3 dc, sc in next dc; rep from * across; turn – 21 sc and 20 ch-3 sps.
     
  7. Rep Rows 2-5 until Stole measures approximately 60" from beg, ending with Row 5; fasten off. Weave in ends.
     
  8. Fringe--Cut 18" lengths of yarn for fringe. Hold four lengths of yarn as a group; fold group in half. With RS facing, insert fold of yarn from front to back through first ch-3 sp along one short edge of Stole; bring ends of group through fold and pull to knot. Rep in each ch-3 sp across both short edges of Stole. Trim fringe evenly.
