The "Coastal Beach Bag" is a must-have bag for me for the summer. I have not seen this yarn in person. I am sure it is as beautiful as in the picture. I appreciate the rectangular bottom instead of just two pieces sewn together. It gives the bag more room for all my lotions, potions, sunglasses, keys, and phone.

I agree Cheryl Y, this is a very nice bag. I especially like the use of the self striping yarn because it gives the crochet a nice bit of whimsy. Its a nice bag for the market too and it looks like the dimensions are generous enough to carry quite a few things. The pattern seems simple enough that I can follow it even with my limited crochet skills.

I really like this Coastal Beach Bag! The colors are great summery colors and the pattern is so easy! It would be perfect for taking to the beach with all of the grand kids toys or outdoor beach/sun needs. It is a great size too. The patter reads well and I'll be making a few of these for my daughters to take the kids.. Thank you for this free pattern.
