Just finished this for my daughter in law - she was soooo pleased with it. She is going to keep warm for night feeds when my new grandson arrives. Once the pattern is set it is quite easy to do. Thank you for a lovely pattern

I tried this pattern with a bright yellow baby yarn for the main part and sort of a turquoise color for the cuff. I really liked the shape and *loved* the cuff, but didn't like how the row joins looked in the bright solid yellow color. So... I frogged it and improvised making the main part of the hat from the tip down in continuous rounds, sort of evened it out at the end. (This way I was also able to make it fit an older child.) Then I worked the cuff and added a pom pom to the tip in the same color as the cuff.

as a new member and new to the computer I have found this site very helpful and easy to understand .Have told others about it and will use again in the future

I love this little hat!! I plan on making it for my grand daughter!!

Hi, You could try using worsted weight yarn and a larger hook.

This pattern is adorable. How would I adjust the pattern for a 12-month baby?
