This design really is a baby booties. Having the shoe extend up the leg really does give this pattern a boot appearance. The little bow makes it just too adorable not to want to make a couple of pairs.

I was looking for a different type of baby bootie to make for a gift for my friend's newborn. These really resemble boots. They go up the leg part way and feature a cute little crocheted bow in a contrasting color. I know I could whip these up in no time! I wish I would have seen these sooner, though, as I already made a set.
