Must Have Kids Summer Craft Supplies

Materials:

  • Glue-Good ol’ Elmer’s works the best along with glue sticks
  • Wood craft sticks-buy the larger size
  • Pom Pom’s
  • Google Eyes-assorted sizes
  • Tissue paper in various colors
  • Washable paint and markers
  • Paint brushes
  • Scissors
  • Construction paper
  • Craft foam
  • Feathers
  • Scrapbooking papers & embellishments
  • Pre-folded cards and envelopes
  • Large poster board
  • Recyclables-I keep a bag of all kinds of goodies on hand. Cereal boxes, plastic containers, paper towel rolls etc. Don’t forget to save old newspapers to help keep your creative area clean.

Helpful Tips:

  1. Place wax paper under their projects. It helps keep the wet paint and glue from sticking to the newspaper.

  2. Purchase or make a container to hold all of your supplies. That way you can just grab it and go. It is perfect for road tips to Grandma’s house!

  3. Watch for sales and coupons to keep your supplies stocked. If money is tight then split the list with other moms.
