Painted Coasters for Kids

Materials:

DecoArt Products Required
Patio Paint

  • DCP10 - Summer Sky Blue
  • DCP14 - Cloud White
  • DCP21 - Wrought Iron Black
  • DCP28 - Fiesta Yellow
  • DCP36 - Tiger Lily Orange
  • DCP43 - Holly Berry Red

Americana Brushes

  • DBR2002-B - Round 2
  • DBR2004-B - Round 4
  • DBF2575-B - Flat 3/4"

Supplies

  • Foam plate
  • 1/4" round foam pouncer brush
  • 4" terra cotta saucers


Steps:

Preparation: Remove any stickers or tags from surface.

Girl Coaster
1. Use Fiesta Yellow to paint outside and inside rim of saucer; let dry.
2. Use Holly Berry Red to paint inside base of saucer; let dry.
3. Refer to photo for placement. Use large round brush and Wrought Iron Black to paint head of ladybug, antennae, and line between wings. Use pouncer brush dipped in Wrought Iron Black to dot ladybug wings. Let dry.
4. Use Cloud White and small round brush to paint name on coaster; let dry.

Boy Coaster
1. Use Summer Sky Blue to paint outside and inside rim of saucer; let dry.
2. Use Tiger Lily Orange to paint inside base of saucer; let dry.
3. Refer to photo and use small round brush and Wrought Iron Black to paint detail lines on basketball.
4. Use Cloud White and small round brush to paint name on coaster; let dry.
