DIY eco-friendly crafts help you save money and the planet at the same time. Learn how to upcycle a tissue box into a holiday door hanger from Candace Jedrowicz and use items you might otherwise throw away. This is a fun project that the whole family will love.

Cut out your desired image from the tissue box and then cut out a piece of decorative paper that's larger than the cardboard piece. Cut out additonal strips of decorative paper and add glitter to the piece. Punch two holes in the top of the piece and string wire through the openings to it can hang on a door or hook. Add any other decorative embellishments you'd like and leave your piece hanging until spring.

Love this little project with the tissue box for christmas decor. I make cards and have used panels of tissue boxes in place of design paper for decorating cards. Thank you so much for the inspiration.
