How to Make a Baby Yarn Owl

By:

If you give a hoot about cute handmade gifts, then you'll love learning how to make a Baby Yarn Owl from Dondi Richardson for FloraCraft. Use eyelash yarn and a Styrofoam base to construct this furry little friend. Cut out small felt shapes to create the face of your owl.

Start with a plain foam ball and cut pieces off to form the bottom and the face. Grab your eyelash yarn and start wrapping it around the ball. Keep going until the ball is completely covered. Cut out felt shapes and use a hot glue gun to adhere the pieces to the ball. Use a hair brush to fluff of the yarn and bring the owl to life. Display your new creation or give it to your favorite little animal lover.
