Looking for unique and exciting homemade Father's Day gifts? Crafts using easy-to-find materials are perfect for the occasion! Learn how to make nuts and bolts race care framed art from Heidi Borchers - it's a great gift for a dad on the go.

Use nuts, bolts, washers and even soda can tabs for this super unique project. This craft was actually originated 40 years ago, but the technique still holds up! Start by finding a picture of a racecar - enlarge the image and print it out. Trace the pattern on paper or felt. Use Aleene's Tacky Glue to adhere your nuts and bolts to the paper. Use as many bits and bobs as you'd like - it's up to you whether you want the car to be crowded or sparse.
