Go Green Doggie Tote

Call me crazy, but I always have a hard time throwing away my dog's dog food bag.  Most of the brands I buy feature large images of dogs printed on the side.  It's just too cute to toss out!

If you feel the same way, watch this video from Lorine Mason and learn how to turn that bag into an adorable tote!  Remind yourself of your beloved pooch wherever you go with this recycled Go Green Doggie Tote.

Hear Lorine talk about this Go Green Doggie Tote on FaveCrafts Radio. Read our blog post to learn more about the March 2, 2011 FaveCrafts Radio show.

Well the woman talks way too much and too fast about other subjects, she should have her own show if she wants to show her big close up of her face. Seeing the project progress would have been more beneficial. I just cut the cat pictures off of the cat food bags and taped them on a used Folgers coffee container to hold cat treats or dry cat food. Thank you for all the ideas this tutorial gave me.

I love this I have 20lb size bags I plan on turning into re-usable grocery bags. maybe this can be taped live showing the steps and posted again for a more clear picture of the steps.

Good concept. Love reusing the dog food bags. Having close ups of the woman's face is not helpful. The focus should be on the project. No need to see the close up of the person. Yes, written instructions would be great. Toooooo long.

I agree with kimberlybab. I'd rather have instructions with pictures of the actual project to follow as I make something new. To watch/listen to someone talk just doesn't do it.

I don't like video. I'd rather have something I can print. Is there a way to print these instructions?

This looks like an exciting project! Being a dog owner and handbag lover it is a must to create! I'm sure these bags would receive several complements. Fast, easy and quick to wipped up as gifts as well as for yourself. It makes me wished I could use a sewing machine!
