Garden Flowers: "Save The Date" Card

Follow these steps for gorgeous "Save the Date" Cards from recycled paper, from Arnold Grummer's Paper Making Kits and Supplies.

Save the Date Wedding Invite

Supplies:

  • Arnold Grummer's Paper Additive
  • Arnold Grummer's Large Couch Sheets: 20 pack
  • Arnold Grummer's Large Dip Handmold
  • Arnold Grummer's Gold Dust
  • Arnold Grummer's Papermill PRO Envelope & Stationery Kit
  • White photocopy paper
  • Garden flowers, fresh or dried
  • Handmade paper strip: 1" x 2 1/2"
  • Accent color cardstock
  • 1/4" hole punch
  • 3/8" wide ribbon: 8 inch length
  • Glue
  • Envelope: 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" square


Steps:

  1. See 'Garden Flowers Invitiation'. Follow steps 1 through 5.
     
  2. Print 'Save The Date' card on home computer. Leave a 1 3/4" space between sections of copy for the handmade paper strip. Trim card to 5 1/4" x 5 1/4".
     
  3. Attach handmade paper strip in center of card with glue.
     
  4. Use hole punch. Make 2 holes, 3/4" apart in the center of the strip.
     
  5. Lace ribbon: Down thru left hole, up from back thru right, over and down thru left hole again, across and up from back thru right, leaving a 2 1/2" tail on both sides.
