Green Sewing and Knitting Tips

Check out these green tips on how to recycle old materials for new craft projects.

Green Sewing and Knitting Tips

  • Reuse zippers and buttons from old clothing instead of going out and buying new materials every time you start a project.
  • Instead of throwing away that old Holiday sweater, reuse the yarn for your next knitting or crocheting project. Grab some sweaters at a thrift store for another inexpensive and green way to get yarn.
  • Use a recycled canister (like an old oatmeal container) as a yarn holder. Poke a hole in the lid, place your yarn inside and thread it through the top.
