These Wallpaper Decoupage Flower Pots from Mitzi Curi are a fun and easy way to jazz up your home or garden. Depending on what type of wallpaper you use for these clay pot crafts, you can get a modern or vintage look. Because it only uses a few inexpensive materials, this is a budget-friendly way to update your decor. Soon enough, you'll see that decorating flower pots can give your home and garden an instant dash of style.

Materials:

  • Flower pots
  • Wallpaper
  • Tim Holtz Distressed Ink
  • Mod Podge

Instructions:

  1. Tear or cut pieces of wallpaper to decorate your pot. Apply Mod Podge directly to the pot. Apply wallpaper pieces. Smooth out lumps and bumps. Once the wallpaper lies flat, apply a coat of Mod Podge.

  2. If you are a perfectionist, these flower pots might be tricky. One might think you could cut one long strip to go around the top band of the pot, but since there is a small angle in the band, this won't work. Try shorter pieces instead, or go with a haphazard, patchwork look.

  3. You can sand off the sharp edges of the paper around the rims of the flower pots. You can also use some Tim Holtz Distress Ink around the raw edges of the lighter wallpaper pieces, as pictured below.
