Wallpaper Decoupage Flower Pots

Materials:

• Flower pots
• Wallpaper
• Tim Holtz Distressed Ink
• Mod Podge

Instructions:

1. For the flower pots, I just tore or cut pieces of wallpaper, applied Mod Podge directly to the pot, attached the wallpaper to the pot and smoothed out the lumps and bumps. Once smooth, a coat of Mod Podge goes on top.
    
2. If you are a perfectionist, these flower pots might give you a run for your money. There are angles to deal with here, and in my opinion combining geometry with crafting is just wrong, so I just go with a haphazard, patchwork look. One might think you could cut one long strip to go around the top band of the pot, but since there is a small angle to the band, this really won't work. You must try shorter pieces and accept the fact that it's not going to look perfect.
    
    
3. I should also mention that I sanded off the sharp edges of the paper around the rims of the flower pots, then used some Tim Holtz Distress Ink around the raw edges of the lighter wallpaper pieces, as you might notice on the flower pot on the left in the picture below.
