Materials:

  • 10 Plastic barrels from Utz party mix
  • 1 Old pair of denim jeans
  • 1 Roll of double sided foam tape
  • 1  Pair of cheap black kids' gloves (dollar store)
  • 10 Santa hats (or make your own with scrap red and white plastic or fabric)
  • 10 Pairs of minion eyes with strap (google or print from online)
  • 1 Yellow poster board
  • 1 Thick black permanent marker
  • 1 Roll of clear package tape
  • 1 Bottle Eileen's craft glue

Instructions:

  1. Wash the barrel thoroughly. Once dried, paint the barrel with yellow spray paint.
  2. While paint is drying, work on Minion overalls: cut out enough denim to wrap around the barrel, and two small overall straps.
  3. Cut 8" long,3" wide pieces of yellow posterboard for arms. Roll into a tube and tape closed using clear tape. Using rubber bands, attach the gloves on one end of each tube of posterboard.
  4. When paint dries, attach denim around center of barrel, the overall straps and arms with double sided tape.
  5. Glue eyes onto face, attach Santa Hat, draw smile, and voila! You have a Merry Minion!
