Making Christmas centerpieces doesn't have to be difficult.  With these Glittering Holiday Pinecones, you can create a stunning and elegant decoration that can be used through New Year's Eve!  Bring shimmer and sparkle to the holiday season!

Glittering Holiday Pinecones

Materials:

  • Pinecones (as many as you would like!)
  • 1 can Krylon® Glitter Blast™ Glitter Paint, Golden Glow
  • 1 can Krylon® Glitter Blast™ Glitter Paint, Silver Flash
  • Pushpins
  • Fishing line
  • Masking tape
  • Drop cloth

 

Instructions:

  1. Make certain that the pinecones to be painted are clean from dirt and dust.
     
  2. Spray with Krylon Glitter Blast. Apply multiple thin coats to avoid runs and drips. Wait approximately 1 to 2 minutes between coats, shaking can before each coat. Let dry.

Tip: To make all sides of the pinecones easily accessible and even easier to spray, create a makeshift closeline and hang pinecones from string or fishing line.
