Winter may be here but the snow is not and I'm ok with that. The days will come faster and faster and then the snowflakes will start falling. Once the ground is covered you will gain brilliant ideas on how to make snowman Christmas crafts, Frosty the snowman is so inspirational. I love making snowballs and having snowball fights, it brings you back to your childhood days, so does crafting.

Back in the day when I was in school we always made winter crafts as well as Christmas crafts. One of my favorite easy Christmas crafts to make was snowmen. There are so many different ways you can make them using your imagination and crafting materials. The easiest I think is snowman on a stick. All you need are:

  • 3 Big Cotton Balls
  • 1 Popsical Stick
  • Glue
  • 2 Pretzels
  • Black Marker
  • Red Marker

Instead of the black marker for the eyes you can substitute it for m & m's, jelly beans or even raisins. Whatever size snowman you're making will depend on what size eyes you want.

It's really quite an easy craft. You just have to follow these steps and you'll have great snowman Christmas crafts.

  1. Glue all 3 cotton balls on top of the popsicle stick, laying flat, starting from top and ending at bottom.

  2. Wait a little bit for it to dry.

  3. Then glue on one pretzel to each side of the popsicle stick for its arms, again, wait to dry.

  4. Lastly, all you need to do is draw a face. Use the black marker for eyes and the red for the mouth.

  5. Like noted above, you can use different materials for the face depending on how big of a craft you want.

Another cute snowman craft I quite enjoy is this light bulb snowman craft I found on familycorner.com. Now you can save your old light bulbs and reuse them for good things. Snowman Christmas crafts are the way to go with these. This craft is so cute, you can add buttons, a scarf, hat and face. Few materials are needed, but the outcome is just so adorable. There are other really cute crafts like this one; check out the Santa and Angel ones.

One of my favorite snowman Christmas crafts on our site is the snowman can cozy. It's just so cute and I love the bright colors. It's really easy to make and it'll keep your drink cool. Be sure you try to make one for yourself or give it as a gift.
