Crystal and Pearl Decor

Decorate your Christmas trees, your wreaths, fireplace mantels and even your gifts with these crystal and pearl decorations. In three easy steps you can have a beautifully decorated home.

Materials:

• 2 pc 18mm white pearls
• 6 pc 8mm white pearls
• 16 pc 6mm white pearls
• 4 pc 7x10mm crystal squatty plastic bicones
• 30 pc crystal 4x6 plastic rondelle (spacer) beads
• 2 pc 32x9mm crystal plastic pointed pendant beads
• 10 pc silver lined bugle beads
• 4 pc silver spoke sequins
• Ruler
• Scissors
• Clear monofilament (#8lb test used on our sample)

Steps:

1. Cut one 36 inch piece of monofilament thread. String on 1 pendant bead and dangle it from the middle of the thread.

2. String onto both monofilament ends together (as if they are a single strand) the following beads:
 

First Section
7x10mm squatty bicone
6mm pearl
silver sequin
18mm pearl
silver sequin
6mm pearl
7x10mm squatty bicone
6mm pearl
8mm pearl
6mm pearl
Bead Set (the following set of beads will be repeated; 5 sets make the center of the strand)
3- 4x6mm spacers
a silver bugle on each strand separately (these will lie side by side)
3 – 4x6mm spacers
6mm pearl
8mm pearl
6mm pearl

End the strand threading beads in reverse from the first section so both sides match.

3. After the last pendant is strung onto 1 of the threads, join the 2 monofilament ends together in a knot to secure. Pull the monofilament slow and steady to create a tight knot and do a double knot for extra strength. A dot of craft glue can be used for extra security. Trim off any excess cord.
