Row 1: Sc in second chain from hook and in each across.

Ok, I am a beginner to crochet, so I hope this one works for me. I love the way this scarf looks, and I'm already anticipating choosing the color to make my first crocheted scarf. I have made scarves on a loom with lots of different types of yarns. I hope I can conquer this. Wish me luck!

Toni, I also made a scarf as my very first project. However, mine was knitted. I remember working so hard on getting the knitting and purl things to go right only to come back to class and have the instructor rip it all out as I made a mistake back at the beginning. I think that is when I began to like crocheting better! #NationalCraftMonth2017

I have to agree with you girls again that crocheting is easier than knitting and I have been out of practice for awhile but I made a scarf for a beginner project when I was in high school. I need to start again soon and may have to do another scarf to remember how to crochet. This is a great video and tutorial it is done very well.
