Heart Zipper Pull

Hearts are always in fashion so create this quick and easy zipper pull to show the world your happy heart! Project designed by FaveCrafts resident craft expert Maria Nerius.

 
Heart Zipper Pull
 

Materials:

  • Lanyard hook
  • Crimp bead
  • Beading wire
  • Crimper
  • Assorted beads*
  • Scissors
  • Ruler

*Silver beads from Halcraft, all other beads from Rings & Things
 

Instructions:

  1. You will need 9 small silver round beads, 8 red seed beads, 2 small silver rose beads, 2 silver diamond beads, large heart bead, 2 small heart beads, 2 crimp beads. Measure 8” of bead wire and cut.
     
  2. Thread beading wire onto lanyard hook center. Thread on a crimp bead. You are threading the crimp bead onto both wires. Pull tight to lanyard hook and crimp.
     
  3. On one wire thread 3 red seed beads, rose bead, red seed bead, diamond bead, red seed bead, rose bead, large heart, small silver round, red seed, small silver round. Now string on a crimp bead and red seed bead. Thread beading wire back through crimp bead and crimp. Trim excess.
     
  4. On second wire string 5 small silver round beads, small heart, diamond bead, small heart, 2 small silver round. Now string on a crimp bead and red seed bead. Thread beading wire back through crimp bead and crimp. Trim excess.

This is such a great idea!!!! It would be a great gift for girls from "tweens" on up to grandmothers! And, it doesn't look too complicated - could make a bunch while watching TV!lol Maria - TFS!!!

I think this is a 'fun' idea for my nieces and nephews. Can you tell me the length of the bead strands from the lanyard hook bottom to the end?
