Eye Glass Holders

Eye Glass Holders


Materials

Orange Candy:

  • 3 Large orange circle beads
  • 3 Small orange lampwork beads
  • 12 Orange flower beads
  • 34 Orange square beads
  • 8 Red leaf beads
  • Red E beads
  • 2 Eyeglass holders
  • 2 Crimp beads
  • Bead wire
  • Crimper tool
  • Scissors
  • Ruler

Green Candy:

  • 9 Small green circle beads
  • 14 Halcraft green milliefori beads
  • Square beads: white, green
  • 2 Eyeglass holders
  • 2 Crimp beads
  • Bead wire
  • Crimper tool
  • Scissors
  • Ruler


Instructions

Orange Candy:

  1. Measure 30” of beading wire and cut. Thread one end of beading wire through an eyeglass holder finding, string on a crimp bead, and crimp.
     
  2. String 2 square beads, red E bead, flower bead, red E bead, square bead, one side of orange circle bead.
     
  3. Inside the orange circle bead string 2 E beads, lampwork bead, 2 E beads, and then string wire through other hole of circle bead. You now have 5 beads “floating” inside the circle bead.
     
  4. Continue stringing: E bead, square bead, E bead, flower bead, 2 square beads, leaf bead, flower bead, leaf bead, square bead, E bead, square bead, E bead, flower, E bead, square bead, E bead, square bead, leaf bead, flower bead, leaf bead, 2 square beads, flower bead, E bead, square bead, E bead.
     
  5. Now string 2 square beads and E bead. Repeat this pattern 9 times. Then square bead, E bead, one side of circle bead, float 2 E beads, lampwork bead, 2 E beads, string though other side of circle bead. You have completed first half of eyeglass holder.
     
  6. Reverse and repeat pattern. Sting on crimp bead and thread beading wire through second eyeglass holder finding. Thread beading wire back through the crimp bead, crimp, and trim.


Green Candy:

  1. Measure 30” of beading wire and cut. Thread one end of beading wire through an eyeglass holder finding, string on a crimp bead, and crimp.
     
  2. String one square bead, green square bead, white, green, white, milliefori, white, milliefori, white, one side of green circle bead, green (floating), other side of green circle bead, white, one side of green circle bead, green, other side of green circle bead, milliefori, white, milliefori, white, one side of green circle bead, green (floating), other side of green circle bead, white, milliefori, white, milliefori, white.
     
  3. Continue to string: 5 green and white. Repeat pattern 2 more times.
     
  4. Now string milliefori, white, one side of green circle bead, green (floating), and other side of green circle bead. You are done with first half of eyeglass holder.
     
  5. Reverse and repeat pattern for second half of eyeglass holder, then thread beading wire through second eyeglass holder finding, string on crimp bead. Thread beading wire back through the crimp bead, crimp, and trim.
