  1. Measure the yoke where the fabric is to be attached. (Let it be X)
  2. Now X + 5" (Add this extra if you would like to give some pleats in front) is the circumference of the first small circle.
  3. Fabric needs to be folded in 4 layers with a right angled corner.
  4. Now to draw the first arc The radius R = (X+5)/6.28 [using the formula circumference =2 x pi x R]
  5. For Next arc = Length required for the bottom part + 1/2" seam allowance

  6. Another method is to cut two pieces for front and back (top part of trapezoid = 1/2(X)+ 1/2" seam allowance, Bottom : 2*(1/2X+1/2")
  7. Attach top crocheted piece to bottom fabric piece.

Help! I am experienced crocheter and was looking forward to trying this pattern but have had to rip out rows 7-10 three times because it doesn't come out right. I always come out with 58 or 59 s-edge clusters instead of 55 at the end of row 10. What am i doing wrong??
