Fall Storage Tin

 Tin boxes come in all shapes and sizes, are great for storage, and make functional gifts, especially when decorated with seasonal themes.

Materials:

DecoArt Products Required
Laurie Speltz's Instant Images

  • IIT05 - 1 Short Liner Brush
  • IIJ06 - Pumpkins & Vines Journal Template
  • IIT06 - 3/8 in. Duo Tool
  • IIT07 - 1/4 in. Duo Tool

Americana Acrylics

  • DAO64 - Burnt Umber
  • DA174 - Milk Chocolate
  • DA242 - Fawn

Supplies

  • Scrapbook paper
  • Buttons
  • Adhesives
  • Permanent ink pens
  • Tin box with latch and handle

Instructions:

  1. Measure and cut scrapbook papers to fit around box. Adhere paper to box.
     
  2. Add scrolls/vines around box and on lid with Burnt Umber.
     
  3. Base acorn with Fawn and shade with Milk Chocolate.
     
  4. Overlay acorn cap with Milk Chocolate. Shade with Burnt Umber.
     
  5. Add lines with Fawn.
     
  6. Outline with permanent ink pens.
     
  7. Glue buttons into place.
